Tawana Ross love for haircare and beauty started at the tender age of 12. Tawana became her first client when her mom couldn’t afford to get her hair done. Determined to master any style, she practiced on herself until she eventually became her own stylist. Later, Ross attended the Michigan College of Beauty of Troy and became a licensed cosmetologist in 2011. Today, Ross has made a name for herself in her hometown, Detroit, Michigan. She’s most known for her signature soft wavy hairstyles, and her mixture of feminism and edge with every look. She’s all about making women feeling confident and empowered inside and out. Ross is a mother of two, Chace 14 and Chyna 20. She’s most proud of being a role model to her children by showing them you can create a life by doing what you love. Her children keep her motivated in her entrepreneurship journey. Ross’s ultimate goal is to uplift and teach the upcoming generation.
